CUCUMBER RAITHA

Cucumber is a vegetable that belongs to the gourd family. It is one of the oldest cultivated vegetables and is believed to be originated in northern India. Today, cucumbers are the fourth most-widely grown vegetable crop in the world behind Tomatoes, Onions, and Cabbage.They’re grown worldwide in temperate regions. 
Some of the Health Benefits of Cucumber are:
Cucumber has 96% water content that is more nutritious than regular water, which helps in keeping the body hydrated.
The high water content, vitamins A, B & C and the presence of certain minerals like magnesium, potassium, and silica make cucumbers an essential part of skin care. Facial masks containing cucumber juice can be used for skin tightening.
Cucumber is used to reduce the Cholesterol, Cancer, it controls Blood Pressure and is also beneficial for Teeth and Gums.

Ingredients:
1. Cucumber -- 1No.
2. Curd -- 1Cup
3. Salt to Taste
4. Green Chillies -- 2
5. Black Salt -- 1/4tbsp(Optional)
6. Fresh Coriander Leaves

Method to Prepare:
1. First Grate the cucumber and take it to a bowl.
2. Add the curd to the grated cucumber.
3. Now add salt, black salt and chopped green chillis.
4. Finally add fresh coriander leaves and serve it.
