TAMARIND RICE

Ingredients:
1. Cooked Rice -- 1Cup
2. Channa Dal -- 1Tbsp
3. Urad Dal -- 1Tbsp
4. Mustard Seeds -- 1Tbsp
5. Turmeric -- 1/4Tbsp
6. Salt -- To Taste
7. Lemon Sized Tamarind
8. Red Chilli -- 5
9. Peanuts -- 1/4Cup
10. Curry Leaves -- 10no.s
11. Cashews -- 1/4Cup
12. Green Chilli -- 5 (If you want more spicy, you can add more green chilli.)
13. Sesame Seeds -- 1/4Cup (Optional)
14. Oil -- 4Tbsp

Method To Prepare :
1. Heat Oil in a pan and add Channa Dal, Urad Dal, Mustard Seeds, Green Chilli and Red Chilli.

2. Fry them till the Channa Dal and Urad Dal change into Golden Brown Color.
3. Then add Cashews, Peanuts and Curry Leaves and Fry them for 5min.

4. Then add this to the Cooked Rice and also add Turmeric and Mix it well.

5. Now extract Tamarind Juice from the Tamarind and add the Tamarind Juice to the pan along with a Green Chilli slit length wise.

6. Keep on  Stirring it till it becomes into a Paste.
7. Then add this Tamarind Paste to the Rice.

8. Now add required amount of Salt and Mix it Well.

Note : At this Stage, instead of Tamarind if you add Lemon Juice then it becomes the Lemon Rice instead of Tamarind Rice.

9. Finally Dry Roast the Sesame Seeds and blend them into fine powder. 
10. Add this Sesame Seeds Powder to the Tamarind Rice and Serve it.

Note: If you are making Lemon Rice instead of Tamarind Rice dont add Sesame Seeds Powder.

Tasty Tamarind Rice is Ready To Serve.
