BOTTLE GOURD-CHANNA DAL MASALA CURRY


Ingredients:
1. Bottle Gourd (Cut into Small Pieces) -- 1Cup
2. Channa Dal (Soaked for 4hrs) -- 1/2Cup
3. Cumin Seeds -- 1Tbsp
4. Mustard Seeds -- 1/2Tbsp
5. Curry Leaves -- 10no.
6. Chopped Onion -- 1/2Cup
7. Chopped Tomato -- 1/2Cup
8. Salt -- To Taste
9. Green Chilli -- 5
10. Red Chilli -- 5
11. Red Chilli Powder -- 1/2Tbsp
12. Garam Masala -- 1Tbsp
13. Heavy Cream -- 1/4Cup
14. Oil -- 4Tbsp
15. Coriander Powder -- 1/2Tbsp

Method To Prepare:
1. First heat Oil in a Pressure Cooker and add Cumin Seeds, Mustard Seeds, Green Chilli, Red Chilli, Curry Leaves and fry them for 5min.
2. Then add Chopped Onions and Tomato to it. Cook them till the Tomatoes become soft.
 
3. When the Tomatoes are soft, add the Soaked  Channa Dal and Mix it well.

 
4. Cook it for 2min and add Garam Masala, Red Chilli Powder, Coriander Powder and  Salt. Mix it well.
5. Then add Bottle Gourd Pieces to it.

6. And close the lid of the Pressure Cooker. Cook it upto 3 Long Whistles.
7. Open the pressure cooker and add Heavy Cream to it and just cook it on low flame for 5-10min.
Finally Tasty Bottle Gourd-Channa Dal Masala Curry is Ready to Serve.
